About Miku

Miku is a modular module system that reimagines how we create, use, and care for everyday objects, especially fashion accessories like bags and accessories.

Born from a fashion and product design thesis, MIKU challenges the traditional way accessories are made. Most bags combine leather, textiles, foam, metal, and adhesives, making them nearly impossible to repair or recycle. We asked a simple question: What if everything was made from a single, recyclable material?

The result is MIKU, a flexible, interlocking module designed for endless possibilities.

Why Miku Exists

We believe objects should last longer, adapt to our lives, and be kinder to the planet. Instead of designing one fixed bag that eventually ends up in landfill, we created a system. One small, 3D-printed module that clicks together without glue, screws, or extra hardware.

Made entirely from flexible TPU (a durable, recyclable thermoplastic elastomer), every part is:

  • Fully recyclable
  • Repairable (just reprint and replace a single brick)
  • Reconfigurable (turn it into a new bag, strap, pouch, or accessory)

Inspired by chainmail, mesh, and 3D-printed textiles, MIKU brings comfort and flexibility to modular design. The bricks are soft to the touch yet incredibly strong when connected.

Every MIKU piece is 3D printed on demand, reducing waste and overproduction. Because it’s digitally designed, we can continuously improve the system and offer new brick variations over time.
